Carlos Tevez has stressed helping Juventus claim a third successive Scudetto comes ahead of any personal achievement.
The former Manchester United striker starred in Juve's 3-1 win at Sassuolo on Monday night, a result which moved Antonio Conte's men eight points clear at the top of the table with three games to go.
The Bianconeri now need to match or better Roma's result against Catania when they host Atalanta on Sunday to seal the title after the comeback win at the Citta del Tricolore.
Tevez has scored 18 Serie A goals this season, three fewer than Torino's Ciro Immobile, and was controversially denied a 19th as his effort last night was awarded as an Alessandro Longhi own goal after taking a slight deflection off the home defender.
Not that Tevez was too concerned after the match.
"What's important is that the team play well and win, not me scoring," he told the club's official website.
"I'd prefer the Scudetto to becoming Serie A's top scorer - that's what excites me. We're nearly there. But it's still not won yet.
"Nothing has changed for me. I've always looked to score and help out the team."
Tevez went on to say his injury problems are well and truly behind him after a spell in which he struggled for fitness.
"The problem was in my knee. It was giving me a bit of pain, but now I feel in good shape," he added.
Juventus will now turn their attention to overturning a 2-1 first-leg deficit against Benfica in the Europa League semi-final.
