Liverpool chief Ian Ayre has questioned Manchester United's ability to compete in the summer market.
Liverpool
missed out on numerous targets last summer because they did not have
Champions League football to offer, a fate that will now confront
United.
United's status as one of the biggest club's in the world will carry a
certain appeal, but Ayre said: "You get a little bit of that, but there
is definitely a challenge. That's the reality."
